Advanced Tactical Interrogation
Level 3 & 4 Forty Hour Course…
is a training program open only to students who are graduates of Practical
Kinesic Interview & Interrogation® Level 1 & 2 courses. This course prepares
the student for the most difficult of interview and interrogation subjects. It also
provides the student with the opportunity to practice the interrogation skills in
live practice sessions and receive immediate feedback by reviewing video tape
of their practical interrogation exercises. At the same time, students get the
opportunity to observe the tactics and techniques of other advanced
interrogation students. The course is designed to help interviewers maximize
their ability to gain valuable information from victims, witnesses and subjects as
quickly, efficiently, and accurately as possible while maintaining cooperation
and compliance.

Hands-on Exercises …
- Students will experience very challenging learning hands-on exercises by visiting an area corrections facility and will conduct numerous interviews with inmate volunteers.
- Extended Practical Exercise Review …
The student – inmate interviews will all be video-taped. The day following the taped practical exercises, students will review not only their interviews but those of other students to observe other interview and interrogation styles that they can incorporate into their own style. They will have the opportunity to evaluate their own interviews as well as obtain observations and suggestions for their fellow students and the instructor.
Identifying Excluded Subjects & Behaviors:
- Learn how to recognize the behavior symptoms and identify those personality types upon which normal kinesic theory analysis is ineffective: the psychotic, brain disease, clinical depression and suicidal personalities.
- Anxiety Disorders …
Identify behaviors and correctly interview subjects suffering from the major anxiety disorders such as panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorders, acute stress disorder, general anxiety disorder, post traumatic stress disorder and the impulse control disorder of pedophilia and it’s various types.
- Personality Disorders …
Identify behaviors and correctly interview subjects suffering from the major personality disorders such as paranoid, histrionic, psychopathy, narcissistic, dependent and obsessive compulsive personalities.
- Major Criminal / Disordered Behaviors …
Understand the psychological factors and behaviors of subjects involved in major disordered criminal behaviors such as steroid use, inhalant abuse and that of workplace violence and stalking behaviors.
- Tactical Interview & Interrogation …
Techniques for conducting the most effective interview and interrogation that will obtain legal statements, admissions and confessions, closing more cases and avoiding cold ones. Understanding and avoiding tactics that have been identified as most likely to create a false confession.
- Focused Learning Exercises …
Your learning experience will be enhanced using in-class discussions, video exercises and demonstrations, question and answer sessions, and small group discussions.
