The Sensory Dominant Behavior Type Interview

101 Tips for Interviewers and Interrogators

Stan B. Walters The Lie Guy® Blog

The interview and interrogation techniques for the sensory dominant behavior type personality are distinctively different from the other three behavior types. Why? Because their personality cues and mental processing of information and their environment is remarkable different.  Just remember, these four personality behavior types are not rigid, inflexible characteristics nor is a person likely to be a “pure” behavior type.

All our experiences, education, socialization, successes and failures and much , much more make each person unique.  One blind spot we all have is what’s called “conscientious bias.”  We all think people see the world and think the same way we do.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  See and accept all people as being unique individuals.

The sensory dominant subject tends to be a far more “active” personality and it appears they focus a lot of the pragmatic elements of the problem and look for tangible outcomes.
